Captured in Bastrop State Park, this photograph is a powerful portrait of recovery. The contrast between the blackened stumps and the bright yellow flowers tells a story of resilience. My family and I are on a journey to explore as many Texas state parks as we can. Each visit becomes a chapter in our shared story, and Bastrop left us deeply moved by the quiet strength of nature’s comeback.
