After a day spent hiking the rugged trails of Pedernales Falls State Park, my daughter-in-law, son, and daughter found the perfect place to rest, dipping their tired feet into the cool, emerald green waters of the Pedernales River. The smooth limestone rocks, shaped by centuries of flowing water, created a peaceful spot to relax and reflect on the beauty of the Texas Hill Country surrounding them.
Pedernales Falls State Park, located just west of Austin, is known for its cascading waterfalls, wide limestone riverbeds, and sweeping views of rugged landscapes. It is a place where every step reveals another hidden piece of Texas beauty.
