Description
Taken on a quiet autumn afternoon at Inks Lake State Park, this photo captures the rich, earthy tones of fall as bare trees begin to settle into the season’s stillness. The glassy surface of the lake reflects the golden and russet hues of the shoreline, creating a peaceful mirror of the Texas Hill Country in transition.
Inks Lake State Park is a favorite destination for my family, a place where we camp, hike, and reconnect with nature. With over nine miles of scenic trails, including the popular Devil’s Backbone, and a constant-level lake perfect for kayaking and swimming, this park offers a peaceful escape year-round. Fall brings crisp air, soft light, and quiet waters, the perfect setting for moments like this.
