Artist's Description
Traveling through Utah and Arizona with my daughter was an incredible experience, with the desert landscape leaving us in awe. We paused to capture a photo of two horses standing side by side on rocky terrain, with a majestic red sandstone butte towering in the background of the Navajo Nation’s Monument Valley Tribal Park. One horse grazes on a tuft of desert vegetation, while the white horse gazes curiously at the photographer. Sparse vegetation and distant shrubs dot the arid landscape beneath a clear blue sky.
