About Brigitte Blanchette Thompson

Discover the Beauty of Texas and Beyond. My name is Bigitte Blanchette Thompson, a freelance photographer based in Austin, Texas, specializing in landscape, nature, and outdoor photography. My passion for photography was shaped by years of hiking and exploring over 21 Texas state parks with my daughter and 85-year-old mother. These shared adventures through the Texas Hill Country have taught me to slow down, see deeper, and capture the moments that connect us to nature and each other. While much of my work features the beauty of Texas, I also photograph landscapes, cityscapes, and cultural scenes from across the U.S. and abroad. My portfolio includes photography from Germany, Mexico, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico,...

Thank you Judy Vincent for featuring my Artwork in USA Photographers ONLY I live in Austin, Texas, and have witnessed the dramatic transformation of the city skyline. Interstate 35 often becomes overwhelmingly congested due to our city's significant growth. Consequently, the Texas Department of Transportation has approved a major highway construction project that will expand and reshape the landscape. I hope to capture before and after pictures to create a chronological timeline of our growing modern city.
